Angel McCoughtry verbally signs with her NEW team! Even though teams cannot officially sign players, players and teams can verbally agree to a deal. That is exactly what Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported; so who is Angel McCoughtry going to sign with?

It is the team known as the Minnesota Lynx.

History behind McCoughtry:

McCoughtry is a former number one overall pick, she came out of the 2009 WNBA Draft. The Atlanta Dream drafted her and that is when she spent the first decade of her career with that franchise; in that monumental run with the team, she took them to three WNBA Finals and got the go-ahead for five All-Star nominations.

Plus, she had the accomplishment for leading the league in scoring in the years 2012 and 2013.

Biggest known signing so far, or verbally, as it will be interesting to see how she battles back after tearing her meniscus and ACL.
