A costly injury for George Hill! This is not what Hill nor the Thunder wanted to hear as they are continuing their march through this season. Currently sitting at 8–11 and 12th place. Trying to make it at least 8th place to make it for the playoffs, but this does not help things.
OKC’s guard is out four weeks after having surgery on his right thumb. He had the procedure done on a mallet finger injury; they will reevaluate him in a month.
He has started in 14 games this season, averaging 11 points and 3 assists per game. Plus, shooting from the field with an incredible 50% shooting percent!
